The CNRS Research Groups ‘Quantitative Approaches to Life Sciences’ and ‘MicroNanofluidics’ are jointly organising this conference dedicated to the use of micro/nanosystems for the study of life sciences.

The event will take place Tuesday 3rd February 2026 at the ENS de Lyon (Amphi Descartes, Métro Debourg) and will include a poster session.

It will focus in particular on:

- Microfluidics for biological characterisation and diagnosis - Nano and microsystems have demonstrated their ability to manipulate fragile and small-volume biological samples. They enable the concentration, purification, parallelisation and detection of markers of interest and provide innovative analytical tools for diagnosis.

- Organs-on-a-chip / cell biology on a chip - Microfluidics enables dynamic control of the physical and chemical environment of cells. Current applications range from the capture/analysis of single cells to the reproduction of organ functions.

Guest speakers:

- Laura Casanellas (Coulomb, Montpellier)
- Morgan Delarue (LAAS, Toulouse)
- Ludovic Keiser (INPHYNI, Nice)
- Charlotte Rivière (ILM, Lyon)

Participation in this event is free of charge, but registration is required. Registration and abstract submission will be open from 15th October to 15th December 2025. A total of 12 oral presentations will be selected from the abstracts submitted.
